Cypress Lakes Resort - October 2014
We first met Paula and Vintage Photobooth Hire (aka Strip of a Lifetime or SOAL) at a music festival in Maitland several years before our wedding. Ever since then, we have been chasing the perfect photobooth strip that matched their quality, format and service - we even have a wall of photostrips to prove it. Thus, the moment we got engaged, we knew we had to book them for our wedding. Almost 2 years in advance, we secured our vintage phootbooth before we even had a confirmed wedding date or venue!
Being lovers of photography, photobooths and all things old and vintage, we knew we were onto a winner with SOAL. The SOAL photobooth perfectly matched our vintage/rustic wedding aesthetic and Paula and Nathan brought along vintage décor that added an extra layer of ambience to make the whole set-up come alive.
All the oldies at our wedding loved the classic photobooth as a throwback to their younger years and everyone got into the spirit with the vintage props. Nathan made sure everyone knew how to work the photobooth and that they were in frame for the camera, while Paula made sure photos strips were glued into our guestbook and that everyone signed it. Not just a point and shoot photobooth service, Nathan got creative and helped us with timing so photostrips had different people in each frame and even got the bridesmaids to do a photostrip to show off the details in their handmade dresses.
It was definitely their attention detail that spoke the loudest to us, from our customised photostrip logo made to perfectly match our wedding invites, to closing the photobooth during important speeches at the reception so no one missed them, to coordinating set-up and pack-down with our venue so we didn't have to worry about a thing, to hand-drawn flourishes that decorated our guestbook - everything was perfect! Other photobooths we've used at weddings, events and at bridal expos just do not compare.
Thank you Paula and Nathan for making our special day even more magical! We always knew we had picked the best of the best but you guys far exceeded our expectations. Xx Steff and Dan

Simmer on the Bay - December 2012
It was as if Strip of a lifetime Vintage Photobooths were friends at our wedding (party) who brought with them a classic and classy photobooth as a present. Paula and her partner ensured that everything went smoothly both before, during and after our wedding. Their attention to detail, be it in the quality of the images, the slick set up, the range of fun props, handling of guests, and the follow up services they provided after our wedding was superb.

When looking for our photo booth there really was no other choice! Not only did SOAL's photo booths give us the vintage look and feel we were after but also the modern capability to efficiently produce bespoke imagery.
We had some special requests to ensure our photo-strips were authentic vintage photo booth shots and Paula was amazing throughout the process. Nothing was ever too much trouble and she felt more like a friend than another wedding supplier.
On the night Nathan & Frederick were nothing short of amazing, they made sure all our guests had a great time! Everyone was sure to tell us all about how much fun the photo booth guys were. Nathan even coordinated a few shots with us so my new husband and I had some great booth pics of us too. I've seen photo booths at weddings before and the operators are usually dressed in all black and completely bored and disengaged. These guys dressed up in funky vintage outfits and made it 'an experience' that people would not forget.
My husband wasn't so keen on getting the booth in the first place, he figured the money could be best spent on the honeymoon but he agreed to go ahead anyway. When we returned from our honeymoon and were looking through our fantastic guest book he said to me 'You were right, this really did make the night fun and look at these idiots hahaha'. We now have an excellent quality informal memento of our special day and our guests got to keep something too. Thanks guys xxx

Belgenny Farm - March 2013
We've been to lots of weddings with photobooths and my husband is a cinematographer so we wanted something different and unlike all the usual ones we'd seen. Strip of a lifetime was the next level in photobooths, it was gorgeous!
The accessories, props and old-school vintage booth were so unique and so much fun! It worked perfectly for our vintage-inspired country wedding. The staff were incredible! It was a crazy hot day and we wanted the booth to be in it's own shed surrounding the reception party, so guests could visit as they pleased. They set up everything as we had imagined so perfectly. They were so busy out in the hot shed the whole time with everyone wanting some pics.
The staff looked so wonderful themselves! Nothing was too much hassle, they were unreal! Our guests all raved about how great the photobooth was, many still have the pics from the booth as their profile pictures a year on - that's telling you something! If you want something unique and memorable book these guys. They're amazing! 10/10!

We could not be happier that we chose Vintage Photobooth Hire for our photo booth! We had a vintage styled wedding so it was important to us that it fitted with the look – and it did! The props were fantastic, the set up looked great and the staff were just amazing! Nothing was too much of a hassle and the set up and pack down was so easy – we didn’t have to think of anything – they had it covered! The album is a book of memories that we now have forever and we love it – so much enjoyment was had in the photo booth and we have the hilarious photos to keep! All of our guests commented on how professional and also how fun Paula and Nathan were and this definitely added to the experience of the night!
